Headline:  Eliza Jane Clark, 73, Dies in Jena Monday; Pine Grove Rites Held

Mrs. Eliza Jane Clark of Rhinehart, age 73, who died Monday night at the 
Gaharan Clinic in Jena, was buried Wednesday morning, following services at 
10 o'clock at the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Whitehall.

The Revs. John A. Melder and D. W. Hudnall conducted the final rites and 
interment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery near Whitehall under the direction 
of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Clark, who had been in ill health for some time, is survived by six 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Clark, Mrs. Bertie Brown, and Mrs. Nell Bradford, all of 
Jena; Mrs. Mipowie Edwards, Mrs. Marie Paul, and Mrs. Emmie Paul, all of 
Rhinehart; four sons, Elijah, Tom, Johnnie, and Jim, all of Rhinehart; two 
sisters, Mrs. Bertha Edwards and Mrs. Minnie Edwards, both of Jena; 29 
grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
