P. Crick, of Olla, Succumbs After Four-Month Illness Olla, La., Sept. 26 - (Special) - Mayor F. P. Crick died at his home here Saturday morning at 7;05, following an illness from which he had been suffering for the past four months. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, with Rev. W. H. Hopkins pronouncing the last rites. Interment was in Lowe Cemetery, in Caldwell Parish. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. F. P. Crick, one daughter, Mrs. Zora Lee Rogers, and four sons, Governor Crick, Andy Crick, Claude Crick, and Frank Crick. Mr. Crick had been active in political and civic affairs in Olla for a long time and had built up a large circle of friends during his residence there.
