Chapman Buried Sept. 3 at Sicily Island Mrs. S. T. Chapman passed away on Saturday, August 31, 1946, at her home in Jena, after an extended illness. Cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services were held on September 3, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sicily Island, with Rev. Lee Brooks officiating. Mrs. Chapman was before her marriage, Miss Nora Watson. She was born in Houma, La., in 1885, and at the time of her death was 61 years, 6 months, and 19 days old. She had been a resident of LaSalle Parish for a number of years. Surviving, beside her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Ansel Watson, Foules, La.; Mrs. W. H. Stanley, Brookhaven, Miss.; and Mrs. Doris Duncan, Baton Rouge, La.; five sons: C. W. Watson, Foules, La.; Clarence Drummond, Ferriday, La.; Wolf Watson, Foules, La.; Gus Watson, Vicksburg, Miss., and Harold Watson, Baton Rouge. La.
