Corley Buried August 30 at Belah A cloud of sorrow covered the Belah community when news spread of the death of Mrs. Margaret Windham Corley. Mrs. Corley passed away August 28, 1946, at her home, cause of death being heart trouble. She was born March 18, 1876, being 70 years, 5 months, and 10 days old. On December 1, 1897, she was married to G. A. Corley who preceded her to the grave 13 years ago. One daughter, Mrs. Viola Corley Coon also preceded her to the grave. She joined the Baptist Church at the age of 15 years. Funeral services were held August 30, 1946, at 2:30 p. m., at the Belah Methodist Church, with Rev. R. M. Doughty of Tullos officiating. Survivors are: two daughters and three sons, Mrs. S. A. Fairbanks of Parhams, Mrs. B. B. Coon of Whitehall, Ira, Burley and Meredith Corley of Trout, R. F. D., 16 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Malinda Hailey of Nebo. Pallbearers were: nephews, S. E., T. E., L. E., and H. A. Windham and E. L. and E. B. Stapleton. Hixson Brothers conducted funeral arrangements.
