Headline:  Area Deaths

Margie L. Creel, 75, of Jonesville, died at 8:10 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 
1999, in St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria.  She was a 
homemaker.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 31, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Terry Doughty and Denver McBroom 
officiating.

Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery at Manifest under direction of 
Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Ann Creel of Jonesville; two sons, Everett 
Creel of Jena and Larry Creel of Jonesville; one sister, Shirley Crowell of 
Quitman, Texas; one brother, Rev. Pete Turner of Jena; seven grandchildren 
and eleven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ryan Creel, Kenny Creel, Owie Creel, Bobby Creel, Jeff Gray 
and Billy Boyd.
