Funeral services were scheduled for this (Thurs.) afternoon at the Tidwell Cemetery near Nebo, but in the event of inclement weather, the rites will be held at the Crossroads Baptist Church. The Rev. O. G. Cannon was scheduled to conduct the final rites, with interment in Tidwell Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena. Mr. Coon, a member of the Nebo Baptist Church, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Coon, of Jena; five sons, Wade of Trout, Oral of Dallas, Texas, James of Jena, Marvin of Houston, Texas, and William of the U. S. Navy; two brothers, Monroe and Louis, both of Nebo; and a sister, Mrs. Ila Graham of Nebo, and seven grandchildren.
