Headline:  Services for Mother of J. D. Colter Held at Chase, Louisiana

Services for Mrs. R. L. Colter, mother, of R. D. Colter of Jena, were held 
Sunday, April 16 at Chase, Louisiana.  Mrs. Colter was 80 years of age and 
had been ill for about nine weeks.

Burial was in Chase Cemetery.

Survivors of Mrs. Colter are two sons, R. D., of Jena, who is employed by 
Welch Motor Company, and R. R., of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. H. I. McDuff, 
seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Those attending the services from Jena were Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Welch, Roy 
Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Owens, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Davis, Mrs. Purl Wright, 
and J. H. Richardson.
