H. Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at the Little Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla, under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Olla. Surviving are six sons, S. M. Cruse of Olla, J. W. Cruse of Columbia, C. C. Cruse of Clarks, J. S. Cruse of Monroe, A. C. Cruse of Olla, and E. W. Cruse of Monroe; and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Grant of Kelly. Mr. Cruse was the son of Levy Cruse of Olla, deceased; was married to Miss Johnnie Shadrick in 1880; and was a member of the Little Chickasaw Methodist Church.
