Cooper of Walters is Buried Nathan C. Cooper of Walters, who died Dec. 18 at the Jonesville Clinic at the age of 63, was buried Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Jena, with interment following in the new Jena Cemetery. A farmer by occupation and a member of the Baptist Church, Mr. Cooper had lived at Walters all his life. The Revs. Tommy Harper, O. G. Cannon, J. D. Thornhill and Henry Powell conducted the final rites, with funeral arrangements under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Mrs. Molly Cooper of Walters; four daughters, Mrs. Ellie Chevallier and Miss Evelyn Cooper, both of Walters; Mrs. Jolene Thompson of Archie and Mrs. Doris Ward of Seminole, Texas; five sons, Ernest of Walters, Ellis of Jonesville, Doyle of Summerville, Willard of Deville and Ray of Archie; two brothers, G. C. and Leon Cooper, both of Walters; four sisters, Mrs. G. C. Johnson of Jena, Mrs. Ethel Breithaupt of Archie, Mrs. Albert O'Neal of Deville and Mrs. Arthur Bradford of Walters, and 17 grandchildren.
