C. Clark, of Coldwater, was injured fatally when struck by an automobile driven by C. B. Small, Jr., of Many. Small drove his machine into the ditch, where it turned over, in trying to avoid hitting the child. The boy was found under the wheels of the machine badly crushed and injured internally. He died soon afterward at the Natchitoches Hospital. Bystanders stated that the accident was unavoidable.
