Coleman, 52. Buried Last Week Huey C. Coleman, lifelong resident of Jonesville, who died in New Orleans Sept. 10 shortly before noon at the age of 52, was buried last Thursday afternoon at Heard Cemetery near Manifest, following rites held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Jonesville at 3 o'clock. The Revs. Harold Davis, J. O. McNair and Larry Walker conducted the funeral services, with interment under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Coleman; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Jean McMillin, Yvonne Coleman, and Sandra Gail Coleman, all of Jonesville; four brothers, Ralph and Govie of Jonesville, Truman of Nebo and the Rev. Eulis Coleman of Bunkie, and his mother, Mrs. Allen Coleman of Jonesville. Serving as pallbearers for the final rites were Otho Coleman, I. A. McMillin, H. B. Doughty, Lynn Wiggins, Roy Fisher and Shelby Kirby.
