Curington, 64, of Wisner, died Monday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital at Monroe after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church of Wisner with the Rev. Harold Dunn and the Rev. Carlton Vance officiating. Burial followed in Central Cemetery by Mulhern Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Curington of Wisner; three sons, Curtis, Gerald and Lewis Curington, all of Wisner; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Roberts of Wisner and Mrs. Emma Jean Smith of Sicily Island; a brother, Elmos Curington of Jena; and a half-sister, Mrs. Birdie Mae Watkins of Illinois. Mr. Curington was a retired farmer and a member of Central Baptist Church.
