W. N. Carlin and the Rev. Cleve Kennon officiating. Mrs. Charrier died Tuesday at the Utopia Nursing Home at Jonesville after a long illness. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery at DeVille under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one son, Artellis Charrier of Larto; one daughter, Mrs. Arvell Littleton of Jonesville; three half-brothers, Coney, Bill, and Joe Herron, all of Jonesville; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Broussard of Ferriday and Mrs. Mae Dukes of Melville; five half-sisters, Mrs. Carrier Charrier and Mrs. Ethel Gardner of Jonesville, Mrs. Jannie Rutledge of Jena, Mrs. Ruth Parker of Bogalusa, Mrs. Mahalia Crouch of Monterey, and three grandchildren.
