Bennie Mae Clinton

Bennie Mae Chevallier Clinton, 71m died at 8:59 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2001,
in Rapides regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

She was a retired lunch room employee with the LaSalle Parish School System.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 18, at the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the revs. Claude Terrel and Stacy Givens
officiating.

Interment followed in the Tidwell cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers,
Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Rodney of Pineville; one son, Odom
Chevallier, Jr. of deville; one sister, Ellouise Hawthorne of Belah; one
brother, Warren Huffman of Nebo; one step-daughter, Nita Zahn of Anacoco;
three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donald Lee Chevallier, Brian H. Chevallier, Charles
Chevallier, thomas Clifford, Dale Ferrant, and Wayne Terral.

Jim Cripps served as an honorary pallbearer.
