(Dutch) Chevallier was buried Tuesday feb. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Jena cemetery. The deceased had been a lifelong resident of the Walters Community and at the time of his death Monday, March 1, 1948 was 58 years, 4 months and 28 days old. He became a member of the Baptist church early in, life and was married to Miss Dola Sanson Nov. 21, 1912. No children were born to this union, but in addition to a host of friends, nieces, nephews and other relatives he leaves to mourn his passing his wife. Mrs. Dola Chevallier and the following brothers: Ed, Arch and Clarence of Walters, La., Sheppard, Rhinehart, and Len huffman, one half brother, Walters; Sisters, Mrs. Martha Floyd, Walters, La. And Mrs. Genice Hailey, Nebo, La. The funeral service was conducted, by Rev. Hugh Thompson of Colfax, La. Under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena, La.
