Headline:  11-Year Old Boy Fatally Wounded in Gun Accident

Robert Allen Cockerham, 11-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Burl J. Cockerham of 
Georgetown died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, March 25, following a shooting 
accident Friday afternoon.

Robert Allen died in Shreveport.  Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. 
Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. James Simmons and 
Howard Smith officiating.

Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Winnfield under the direction of 
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.

Survivors, other than his parents, are two brothers, Richard of Winnfield and 
Wayne of Georgetown; four sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Sue Bruce, Sandra Lou 
Cockerham, Sherrie Cockerham, and Mary Jane Cockerham, all of Georgetown.
