Sub-Headline:  Mrs. Chevallier, of Walters, Dies; Burial Whitehall

Services for Mrs. Flora B. Chevallier, 85, of Walters were held June 22 at 10 
a.m. at the Prosperity Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Fleming, Rev. Larry 
Walker, and Rev. Paul Nugent officiating.

Burial was at Pine Grove Cemetery at Whitehall under the direction of Kinner &
 Stevens.

Mrs. Chevallier died June 20 at 8:59 p.m. at the Catahoula Parish Hospital in 
Jonesville.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Huffman of Pineville, Mrs. 
Bobbye Gordon of Torrance, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Head of Jena, and Mrs. Lucille 
Bradford of Jena, one sister, Mrs. Frances Hemphill of Winnfield, 11 
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Herman Head, James Head, Leroy Head, Hayes Huffman, Scott 
Gordon, and Stan Nichols.
