The Revs. Oscar Bradford, S. B. Spinks, and Ed Jelks officiated at the services. Mr. Cotton died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria. He was a worker for the LaSalle Parish Police Jury and a member of the Baptist Church. Burial was in Chalk Hill Cemetery at Zenoria with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home, Jena. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Betty Jo Jones of Jena and Bennie Fae Cockerham of Luling; two sons, Herman of Trout and Glenn of Morgan City; two brothers, Monroe of Trout and Burl of Many; four sisters, Mrs. Ellie Paul and Mrs. Mattie Whatley, both of Trout, Mrs. Lucy Bryant of Jonesville, and Mrs. Agnes Toney of Pineville; and six grandchildren.
