Cliffie Cleon Cruse, 59, of Olla, died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in St. Francis 
Medical Center in Monroe.

He was a retired crane operator with Zanata Offshore Drilling Company with 17 
years of service.  He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, in Harris Chapel 
Cemetery with the rev. Bobby Cruse officiating.

Interment was under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Crawford Cruse of Olla; one son, Lloyd 
Gordon Cruse of Olla; one brother, Kenneth Cruse of Jena; two sisters, Vera 
Dean Poole of Walker and Evelyne Canandy of Harrisonburg; and two 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Scott Cruse, Randy Douglas, Jeff Girod, Jimmy Helton, Frank 
Bergeron, Frankie Bergeron, Jr., Steve Barbo, and Jubal Jones.
