HEADLINE: Area Deaths

SUB-HEADLINE: Hansford Crawford

Hansford Crawford, 87, of Jena, died at 10:14 a.m., Sunday, October 22, 2000
at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

A retired school bus driver, he was a member of Aimwell Baptist Church. He was
born September 1, 1913 at Nichol to the union of William Seth and Mary Barnett
Crawford.

Services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, at the chapel of Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Larry Doughty and Byron Norris
officiating.

Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens,
Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include his wife Zelpha Mitchell Crawford of Jena; and one sister,
Myra Morrow of Grayson.
