She was born and raised in Georgetown. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, at the First Baptist Church in Georgetown with Rev. Charles Martindale officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Church Cemetery of Georgetown under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Survivors include one son, Richard Loftin of West Monroe; one brother, Phillip Maxwell of Georgetown; and four grandchildren.
