She was a homemaker and a member of the Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church. She was born April 21, 1918, at Urania to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Jester. Services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church near Jonesville with the Revs. Norris Poole, Danny Chance, and Russell Hathcock officiating. Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery at Manifest under direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville. Survivors include two sons, Robert Chaudoin of Jonesville and Joseph "Sonny" Chaudoin, Jr., of Cornucopta, Wi.; two daughters, Mary Ellen Knox of Jonesville and Linda Carr of Brazoria, Texas; one brother, Ruben Jester of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Margie Lee of Port Angeles, Wa., Jessie Lee Mercer of Shreveport, Anna Loe Lee of Urania and Sue Chaudoin of Jonesville; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Grandson served as pallbearers.
