Michael died on Saturday, August 5, 2000, at 10:00 p.m. at Halifax Medical 
Center, Daytona Beach, Florida, at the age of 40.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Burlew Crovo of Jena; his two sons, 
Nathan Matthew Norris (Jena) and Michael Joseph Chevallier (Orlando, Fla.); 
his mother, Helen Otwell Crovo (Deltona, FL); his father, Lester W. 
Chevallier, Sr., (Abbieville, Ala.); his sister, Terry L. Chevallier 
(Ornaldo, FL); two brothers, John S. Chevallier (Plainfield, NJ); and Lester 
W. (Bill) Chevallier, Jr., (Alexandria, La.); maternal grandmother, Margaret 
B. Otwell (Jena); paternal grandmother, Virginia Baker (Albany, Ga.); 
paternal grandfather, Cada Chevallier (Port Barre, La.); maternal aunt and 
uncle Bessie L. Sanders (Jena) and John B. Otwell (Natchez, Ms.); nieces and 
nephews, Chris and Shannon Moss (Jena), Johnny and Nicole Chevallier (New 
Jersey).
