Mr. Doughty was a member of the Manifest Baptist Church and a life long resident of Manifest and Catahoula Parish. In early life, he was married to Miss Lillie Fisher who preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at Manifest Baptist Church July 9 by Rev. B. T. Miley of Harrisonburg. Interment was in Heard Cemetery, Manifest, under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Mr. Doughty leaves to mourn his passing the following: Mrs. Fred Little, Manifest; Mrs. P. C. Girlinghouse, Jena; Rev. M. T. Doughty, H. Doughty, J. M. Doughty, A. G. Doughty, all of Manifest; and R. W. Doughty of San Antonio, Texas.
