B. Duff, 65 years old, and a native of Caldwell Parish died at a hospital in New Orleans Sunday after an operation, and was buried in Hillside Cemetery at Columbia Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. W. E. Chapman, Baptist minister, performed the funeral services. The deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Ann Duff, who is now 90 years old, by his wife, three sons and two daughters, and numerous other relatives. Mr. Duff had been in bad health for a considerable time, but he was not confined to his bed continuously up to the time he left for New Orleans to undergo the operation.
