Headline:  Harrisonburg Girl Killed Saturday in Fall from Truck

Dennie Dobson, 13 year old high school girl living near Foules, was fatally 
injured when she fell off a truck which ran into a ditch and turned over on a 
gravel road near Foules Saturday night.

According to Coroner P. W. Callahan of Catahoula Parish, the girl died about 
30 minutes after the accident from a head injury and shock.  The coroner said 
the truck was carrying several boys and girls, none of whom were hurt, on a 
joy ride and that the driver of the truck, whose name was not given, lost 
control of the vehicle.
