Mr. Doughty was born in Tullos on August 30, 1900. On May 20, 1927, he was married to Miss Priscilla Davis, who with two children, survive him. He was a member of the Tullos Baptist Church, having joined the church 12 years ago. Funeral services were held at the Jena Baptist Church on Monday of this week with Rev. W. M. Enterkin presiding. Interment was in Nolly Memorial Cemetery in Jena. Besides his widow and children, the deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Doughty; Claude, Buoy and Ernest Doughty, brothers; Mrs. Essie Mobley and Miss Vernia Doughty, sisters; Mr. and Mrs. A. Doughty, grandparents, and Mrs. Ann Holloway, maternal grandparent.
