Headline:  Funeral Services for Frank Davidson are Held Jan. 22

Funeral services were held from the Nolley Memorial Methodist Church of Jena 
Sunday afternoon, Jan. 22 at 2 o'clock, for the late Mr. Frank M. Davidson, 
59, who died suddenly at his home in Jena last Friday night.  Death was 
reported caused by a coronary occlusion.

Mr. Davidson, a veteran of the first world was with the U. S. Corps of 
Engineers, was born Aug. 5, 1890, at Darrington, Miss.  Survivors include two 
brothers, L. L. Davidson of Shreveport, La., and C. W. Davidson of Freeport, 
Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Dieux of Baton rouge and Mrs. Vivian Moor 
of Baton Rouge.

Members of the Jena American Legion Post served as pallbearers.  The Rev. J. 
H. Sewell was in charge of the funeral services which were under the 
direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals. Graveside services were 
conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Interment was in the Nolley 
Memorial Cemetery of Jena.
