From The Jena Times - Olla Tullos Signal Microfilm located at the LaSalle Parish Library in Jena. Date: May 1945 William F. Doughty, Tullos, Buried May 13 in Heard cemetery Services for William F. Doughty, age 49, were held Sunday, May 13, at 2 p.m. from the Baptist Church in Tullos. Mr. Doughty died in a hospital in new Orleans after a long illness. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Omah Doughty, three sons, Everett of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Purcelle, Okla., James and Robert, both of Tullos; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Doughty, of Tullos; three brothers, B. K. of Pineville, J. M. of Jonesville, and ?? of Edentoo, N. C. The Rev. F. W. Hart of Tullos Baptist Church officiated with interment following in the Heard Cemetery at Manifest. Pallbearers were: Ernest Smith, Hardy Bass, Gary Bass, N. J. Tradewell, A. J. Taylor and Henry Peterson. Funeral services were under the direction of Hixson Bros. of Jena. *** Note*** The copy I have from the microfilm was very hard to read.
