Miss Edwards' death was due to pneumonia which she contracted about two weeks before her death. She was a graduate of the Jena High School and the esteem in which she was held by the people of this section was attested to by the large number that attended her funeral at the Pine Grove Cemetery Sunday morning. The funeral arrangements were under the direction of Kinner & Stevens, local undertakers, with Rev. M. T. Doughty, of Tullos, officiating. The deceased leaves to mourn her passing her father and mother; one brother, Nelson; three sisters, Matilda and Ada Lee Edwards and Mrs. Ray Stutson, all of Jena. She also leaves a score of other relatives, all of whom have the sincere sympathy of Jena and surrounding community.
