Drew Edwards, one time citizen of Olla, but of recent years living in and 
near Pineville, commited suicide by hanging himself Sunday near his home.  
Financial distress, sickness and family troubles were the contributing cause 
of his rash act, so claimed by some of his closest friends.  Interment was 
made in the Olla Cemetery by the side of one of his children, who died 
several years ago.
