Long Hospital in Pineville, April 11 at 2 p.m. of heart disease. The deceased was born in Jackson Parish, and was married to Miss Mamie Heard, deceased, in 1890. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jena. Funeral services were held April 12 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Lee Brooks of Rhinehart officiating. Interment was made at the Nolly Memorial Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Kinner and Stevens. Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. W. L. Garrett of DeRidder, Mrs. D. D. Shaw of Jena, Mrs. J. D. O'Quinn of Texas City, Texas, and Mrs. S. D. Hanes of Jena.
