Francis Dies at Home Here Last Friday A. M. The Angel of Death visited in Jena at midnight Thursday and took away Mrs Margaret E. Francis, aged 80 years, 4 months and 16 days. Mrs Francis had been in ill health for about one week and her death came as a distinct shock to her many friends and relatives throughout this entire section. She was a life long member of the Baptist Church, holding her membership in Jena, and had made many friends by her lovable disposition. The deceased is survived by one son, J. B. Peyton and one daughter, Mrs Myra Crooks, of Jena. Interment was held in the Nolley Memorial Cemetery on Friday, Rev. L. D. Posey, pastor of the Jena Baptist Church officiating. The funeral services were in charge of Kinner & Stevens, local undertakers.
