Mr. Floyd had resided in Jena for approximately 50 years. Services were held Sunday afternoon at Nolley Memorial Methodist Church, Jena, with the Revs. Ed Barksdale, Carrol Bradford, Dan Blake and G. R. Noland officiating. Burial was in Eden Cemetery of Trout with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena. Graveside services were conducted by the ministers. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Whatley Floyd of Jena; three sons, Windsor Floyd, Charles Floyd, and Billy Ray Floyd, all of Jena; three brothers, Alex Floyd, Homer Floyd, and Dugie Floyd, all of Jena; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Floyd Henderson of Jena and Mrs. E??? Floyd Ward of Natchitoches; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cecil Gulde, Starling Gulde, Paul Strozier, Albert Willis, Walter Martin and Barney Henderson, Jr.
