Headline:  Willie Finley, Age 69, Dies at Home in Standard

Willie Finley, age 69 years, died at his home in Standard at 11:10 am 
Tuesday, October 18.  Mr. Finley was well known in the Standard community and 
highly respected.  He is survived by his wife and the following children:  
Mesdames J. W. Ellis, Standard; Alice Steen, Kelly; Elsy Davis, Standard; Ann 
Wilkes, Winnsboro; Effie Hootsville, Clayton; and Minnie Tarver, Crowville.  
Also the following brothers and sisters:  Mrs. Harry Flanders, Missouri; H. 
A. Finley, Columbia; G. T. Finley, Olla, and E. R. Finley, of Winnsboro.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Pleasant Ridge Church 
with Revs. Ratcliff and Cupples officiating.  Interment was made in the 
Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home.
