Fisher, 79, Dies at Harrisonburg James Millard Fisher, 79, of Harrisonburg, with wide family connections in LaSalle and Catahoula parishes, who died at his home Monday shortly after midnight, was buried Tuesday morning in the Heard Cemetery following services at the Bird's Creek Baptist Church at 10 o'clock. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Baptist Church and had been a resident of Harrisonburg for some 77 years. He was a farmer by occupation. The deceased is survived by one son, Albert Fisher of Transylvania; five brothers, Moody of Jena, Dudley of Thomas, Texas; Gabe of Harrisonburg, Zack of Harrisonburg, and Roy of Jonesville; three sisters, Mrs. C. W. Poole of Jena, Miss Ruby Fisher of Jena, and Mrs. Anne Tradewell of Aimwell; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The Rev. C. B. Renfrow conducted the final rites, with interment under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena.
