Fairbanks, 68, truck farmer of Harrisonburg, who died at the Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville of paralysis September 17, at 11 a.m., were held September 18 at the family residence at 3 p.m., with Rev. J. T. Mayo officiating. Interment was made at the Fairbanks Cemetery near Harrisonburg under the direction of Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena. Surviving are: Mrs. Sallie Fairbanks, widow; Willie and Usher Fairbanks, sons; all of Harrisonburg; Eula Mae Fairbanks of Pineville and Mary Allie Gilbert of Newton, Texas, daughters; Sam Fairbanks of Harrisonburg, brother.
