Frazier Jesse B. Frazier, 80, of Jena, died at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2000, at the St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was retired from the maintenance department of the Town of Jena, a member of Temple Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during World War II. He was born November 22, 1919, at Pollock to the union of Jesse A. and Lena Bryant Frazier. Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 31, at Temple Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Keene, Willard Norris and Buddy Willis officiating. Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Sanders Frazier of Jena; one son, John R. Whitehead of Jena; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sherman Cockerham, Steve Andrews, Don Day, Nick Hatten Slim Stapleton, and C. H. Morton.
