Mr. Glaze died at the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria last Saturday. He was employed as a carpenter. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Johnny Lee Dayton. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Hixson Bros. Funeral Home, Jena. Graveside services were held by Rev. Dayton. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Inez Chandler Glaze; six daughters, Mrs. Francis G. Roppolo and Mrs. Fannie G. DeLaune, both of New Orleans; Mrs. Della G. Beavers of Chanelview, Texas; Mrs. Sylvia G. Mitchell of Woodworth; Mrs. Lillian G. Tuttle of Worth, Ill.; and Mrs. Mary Lee G. Brown of Jefferson; two sons, Carroll Wesley Glaze and John Thomas Glaze, both of Forest Hill; two brothers, John Glaze of Woodworth and Eugene Glaze of Forest Hill; 22 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
