M. Brown in Olla, May 3rd at 1:15 a.m. was held May 4th at Chickasaw at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Ratcliff and Sister Swift of Olla officiating. Interment took place at the Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla with Riser and Upshaw of Olla in charge. Deceased was born in Calcasieu Parish but has resided in LaSalle since 1910. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are: J. A., Jim, W. W. and R. S. of Olla and W. H. Gilliam of Bastrop, sons; Mrs. Nannie Leslie of Trout, Mrs. Georgia Cruse of Clarks, and Mrs. Sara Brown of Olla, daughters; Jim Busby of Lake Charles brother, and Mrs. Babe Reeves of Lake Charles, sister, several grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
