Mr. Gulde had been suffering from lingering illness for several months. A short time ago he was conveyed to New Orleans upon the advice of Jena physicians, but his condition gradually grew worse and his death has been expected momentarily. The remains will arrive in Jena some time today and interment will be in the Belah Cemetery either this afternoon or tomorrow. Mr. Gulde leaves his wife and a score of friends to mourn his death.
