Headline:  Area Deaths

Eleanor M. Green, 73, of Summerville, died at 7;50 p.m., Tuesday, December 
14, 1999, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was a homemaker and member of Temple Baptist Church of Jena.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 16, at Temple Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Jimmy Keene, Nick Powe, and Karl Doughty officiating.

Interment followed in the Wilbanks Cemetery of Summerville under direction of 
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include two daughters, Beth Poole of St. Joseph and Reta Jean 
Carraway of Summerville; one son, Charles Wesley Green of Pollock; six 
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers wee Donald Hopkins, Clifton Jackson, Gawan Burgess, Van D. Evans, 
Keith Andrews, and Don Day.
