She was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Monday, March 2 at 2 p.m. in the Zenoria Baptist Church with the Rev. Leslie McCartney and the Rev. T. J. McCartney officiating. Burial followed in Chalk Hill Cemetery near Zenoria under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ivy Hutchins of Harrisonburg and Mrs. Mollie Eby of Zenoria; one son, Phillip Gilmore of Jena; two brothers, the Rev. T. J. McCartney of Mangham and J. H. McCartney of Meredosia, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Thomas of Pioneer, and Mrs. Emma McDonald of Delhi; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
