Headline:  Trout Woman Dies After Clothing is Fired by Fire Place

Funeral services were held at the Belah Cemetery on Monday afternoon for Mrs. 
Edna Gilmore, who died early Saturday in a Shreveport sanitarium from the 
effects of burns received while she stood before an open fire place at her 
home near Trout last week.

Mrs. Gilmore was in the act of dressing her two year old child when the 
accident occurred.  She was rushed to Shreveport, but medical skill and 
loving attention failed to save her.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Monroe Gilmore and two children, 
Merline and Aline Gilmore.
