He was a gauger in the oil industry and a retired army veteran with 22 yeas of service including serving during the Korean Conflict. Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 20, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Jena with the Revs. Crawford Coon and Gary Davidson officiating. Burial followed in the Taylors Chapel Cemetery of near Summerville under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Nella Gwen Gough of Jena; one daughter, Carol Ramaker of Huntsville, Ala.; three sons, Max Gough of North Carolina, Dennis Gough of Dearing, Ga., and Cole Morace of Jena; three stepdaughters, Mickie Butler, of Olla, Dee Morace of Abbeville, and Donna Killian of Lafayette; one stepson, Ondra Morace; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and eight step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kaylon Randall, Jay K. Randall, Chad Randall, Clois Randall, Larry J. Andrews, and Steve McClure.
