Greenwood, 63, of Olla, died Wednesday, September 22, 1999, at the LSU Medical Center in Monroe following an extended illness. He was a construction worker and a member of the Pentecostal Church. He was born on Oct. 2, 1935, at Delhi to the union of Ernest and Della Mecom Greenwood. Services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, in Burroughs Pentecostal Church on Hwy. 4 East of Columbia with Rev. C. J. Heygood officiating. Interment followed in the Lowe Cemetery near Kelly under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Greenwood of Olla; his stepmother, Victory Greenwood of Olla; two sons, Randy Greenwood of Urania and Samuel Greenwood of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Kathy NaQuin of Urania; five brothers, Ernest Greenwood and Bobby Greenwood, both of Houston, Tx., Gerald Greenwood, Harry Greenwood, and Ronald Greenwood, all of Conroe, Tx.; four sisters, Janice Cough of Conroe, Tx., Sandy Vine of Dallas, Tx., Vicki Hooper of Conroe, and Betty Giddings of Houston, Tx.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Weaver, Ernest Greenwood, Gerald Greenwood, Harry Greenwood, Ronald Greenwood, and Bobby Greenwood.
