From The Jena Times - Olla Tullos Signal Date: Wednesday, June 4, 1997 Page: 9A Headline: Area Deaths Dorothy Ann Gray Dorothy Ann Gray, 69, of Jena, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday, May 26, 1997 at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. She was a nursery worker for 18 years at Nolley Memorial United Methodist Church of Jena. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Gary Norris and Jimmy Keene officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery Cemetery of Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors included six daughters, Anna Lou Hamilton of Palestine, Texas, Pamela Elaine Gray of Jena, Denise Arlene Pilcher of Baton Rouge, Sherrie Jean Burgess of Jena and Sandra Kay McCasland of Murfessboro, Tennessee; two sons, Hollis Gray and Byron Gray, both of Jena; four brothers, John Darington of Baytown, Texas, Jack Darlington of Riverside, Texas, Lawrence Darington of Fairfield, Texas and Joe Darlington of Palestine, Texas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kevin Jones, Robert Coleman, Harland Morgan, Roger Dobbs, Larry Morphis and Rance Greer.
