Edwin H. Gibson Rev. Edwin H. Gibson, 81, of Jena, died at 3:20 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2000, at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia Heights. He was a retired Baptist minister and a member of Marshall Lodge 22 F&AM. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served with General Patton in the 9th Armored Division. He was born October 12, 1918, at Archie, to the union of Elias and Lou Taylor Gibson. Services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 13, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, Aug. 14, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas, under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc., of Jena. He is survived by nieces and nephews.
