Goetzman John C. Goetzman, 61, of Destrehan, died at 1:08 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2000, in East Houston Regional Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a tug boat captain with Callais and Son, LLC, and a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday (today), Sept. 13, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena, with Rev. Mac Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Belah Cemetery in the Belah-Fellowship Community. Survivors include two sisters, Marie Hudson of Jonesville and Betty Ann Andrews of Arp, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Craig Kellum, Mark Andrews, Cameron Delhoste, Joseph Delhoste, Paul Ferguson, and Toby Wilson.
