Hazel Charlene Keene Gibson, 89, of Jena, died at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, August 
31, 1999, in LaSalle General Hospital if Jena.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Craig James and Johnnie Phillips 
officiating.

Burial followed in Woodland Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, 
Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Anne Gibson of Lafayette and Myrna 
Taylor of Jena; two sons, Leroy Gibson of Jena, and Ernest Cedrick Gibson of 
Patterson; 12 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Morgan Baker, Dozier Norris, Charles Arnold, Pete Turner, 
Clarence Dunn, and Randy Boyd.
